FAQ: Seedling Pre-Orders
As the spring season approaches, we’re thrilled to offer you the opportunity to pre-order some of our most popular seedling varieties online! We understand that some of our seedlings are in high demand, and we want to ensure that you have the chance to reserve your favorites ahead of time.
How It Works:
Browse our Selection: Visit our website to explore the seedling varieties available for pre-order. We have two pick up windows - one for “spring” and one for “summer” seedlings. All plants on the website are labeled with spring or summer in front of the variety name. Some plants are available for both windows so be sure you are picking the window you are ready for that plant.
Place Your Order: Simply select the seedlings you'd like to reserve and complete your order online. We have labeled each variety as “summer” or “spring” to coincide with the two pick up timeframes available. After you check out you will recieve seperate order numbers for the spring seedlings chosen and the summer seedlings chosen. Please keep these emails for your records and bring them with you for pick up. You will receive other notifications closer to pick up time too.
Pick up at Our Farm Stand: You can pick up your pre-ordered seedlings at the farm during our regular business hours. Seedlings that are pre-ordered online will be picked up at the large greenhouses on the left side of the driveway. Drive over the small hill to the second parking lot and walk toward the large sign that says “Online Orders.” You will be able to pick out your own seedlings according to what was ordered so you still get the best choices from the batch and you can control the size of the plant you want.
Spring Seedlings Pick-up Dates:
April 22nd through May 6th
Summer Seedlings Pick-up Dates:
May 27th through June 10th
If seedlings are not picked up during these times and no other agreement has been made they will be donated to a local non profit with no refund
Why Pre-Order?
Guarantee Your Favorites: Secure your favorite seedlings before they sell out.
Convenience: Skip the rush and have your seedlings ready for pick up at your convenience. We will care for them right up until you are ready to put them in your own garden. We have run in to many customers that come right at the seedling release dates to make sure they get their favorites only to hold them in their homes for a few weeks before they are ready to plant. Pre-ordering will hopefully make the seedling pick up easier and make sure you are fully ready to plant the seedling sooner - let us take care of it for you while you prep the garden.
Support Local: By pre-ordering from us, you're supporting our small, local farm and sustainable agriculture practices. We will be able to tailor what we grow better and therefore will become more efficient and create less waste.
Please note that while we strive to offer a wide selection of seedlings, we're only listing some of our most popular varieties online for pre-order. Due to limited staff resources, we’re unable to manage online orders for every variety we grow at this time. However, rest assured that we’ll have a diverse range of seedlings available for purchase in person at our nursery throughout the season.
